Our first commercial hire of a Hammond organ was in March 1975 and we have been specialising in hiring out Hammond organs and classic keys ever since. However, our experience in servicing goes even further back. Our chief Engineer, Ron Labar, started in 1963 at Vox, so it's fair to say we are the oldest classic keyboard company in the UK and certainly the most experienced.
From our inception in 1975, we have offered reliability and a no-compromise approach, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our Hammonds have never failed to work in thousands of hires, be it tours or studio sessions. We are the only UK hire company that can say that.
The Hammond Hire Company has the largest selection of Hammonds dating from 1935 to 1975 in the UK, and have the largest and best collection of UK spec Hammond B3 organs in the world. At last count, we had 32 Hammond organs in stock. We also have Wurlitzer electric pianos from the 111 to the last model made, the 300, and some of the rarest Moogs to be heard.
